Last Updated: August 8, 2026
Trellis is a product of Thready LLC (dba Trellis Ads), based in Utah, United States.
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
Trellis works to make its products accessible, including to users with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Accessibility is an ongoing effort.
2. Conformance Status
Trellis is partially conforming with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conforming" means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We address gaps as they are identified.
3. Accessibility Features
Current accessibility features:
- Skip-to-main-content navigation link, allowing keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation
- Semantic HTML5 structure with proper landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer)
- Logical heading hierarchy (h1 through h6) for clear document structure
- ARIA labels on interactive elements and navigation components
- Keyboard navigability across primary application flows
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- Dark mode support that respects operating system preference via
prefers-color-scheme - Responsive design from mobile (320px) to desktop
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- Form inputs with associated labels for clear identification
- Error messages that are clear and actionable

4. Known Limitations
- PDF audit reports: Generated PDFs may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We can provide report content in alternative formats (plain text, HTML) upon request.
- Data visualization charts: Some charts may lack comprehensive text alternatives. We are working to add descriptive summaries to all charts.
- Third-party embedded content: Content from external services may not meet our accessibility standards and is outside our direct control.
5. Technologies We Rely On
The accessibility of Trellis depends on the following technologies:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- WAI-ARIA 1.2
- An accessible component library built on WAI-ARIA design patterns
6. How We Test
Our accessibility testing approach includes:
- Keyboard-only navigation testing across all application flows
- Automated scanning with axe-core and Lighthouse
- Manual screen reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS)
- Color contrast verification against WCAG AA thresholds using automated and manual tools
7. Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Trellis. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
